We are the River (Co-Production)

IN DEVELOPMENT

An Aboriginal Elder and an Australian artist join a Maori leader for a five-day canoe trip down the
Whanganui, a river in New Zealand that is legally recognized as a living being. Seen through their
eyes, the river shows how we can be at one with nature. A creative documentary on how, to
confront the climate crisis of our planet, indigenous wisdom has become more urgent than ever.
