Back to the Source
- A Coming-of-Middle-Age Documentary

In Development

Back to the Source is a feature-length hybrid documentary about what happens to life and death when we no longer dare to feel what we feel. We follow Johanna and her sisters as they clear out their father’s hoarder-house to sell their childhood home. Amid mouse droppings, junk, and overwhelming chaos, Johanna is pulled into an inner journey—attempting to heal the painful memories of her past through her father’s many mannequins.

In the process, she ends up cleaning not only the house, but herself.
